Instrument Repairs & Calibration is a privately owned company which was established in 1987. The company was incorporated in 1994 as a Limited Company trading as IRC Ltd.

The Company operate from a well organised unit in East Kilbride with a 'custom built' laboratory which is fully equipped with High Accuracy, Traceable Standards and is run by a highly experienced team of engineers.

Customer Service

With the Company focus based on Customer Service and a computer based management system that is flexible enough to meet, react and adapt to any customer requirements the company's size has steadily increased over the years largely through customer loyalty and recommendation. Our first class Calibration & Repair service gives our customers confidence that their test equipment is dealt with in a totally professional manor, with the added bonus of a direct point of contact available at all times to quickly respond to any queries, giving extra assurance.

Capabilities

Engineering expertise across all Electronic/Electrical/Metrology based market sectors gives IRC Ltd the ability to deal with the repair and calibration requirements of both large and small organisations, with examples ranging from utility companies to local electricians. With our van covering most of the Central Belt of Scotland and workshop capability covering a broad range of test equipment types, coupled with extensive experience in the field of sub-contract services, we are able to efficiently undertake all instrumentation Repair and Calibration requirements, providing an integrated service from pick up to delivery.

We also offer a wide range of test equipment to hire and as a Main Distributor for most major manufacturers we can supply a variety of instrumentation.

Standards

The engineering staff at IRC Ltd are highly skilled and have over a century of combined experience covering Electrical, Electronic, Metrology, Airflow, Torque, Pressure and Crimping. In order to ensure that IRC Ltd maintain the highest standards of customer service we are committed to an on-going programme of re-investment in order to enhance facilities, capability and expertise of staff. The accuracy and content of Calibration is paramount to IRC Ltd and all Calibration performed is traceable to National Standards using the Manufacturers original test procedures where available.
